Note: access to the top of the Sintra mountain (Pena Palace, Moorish Castle) is via a narrow road with restrictions for large coaches. We recommend a 23-seat minibus or up to 35-seat coach to drive up to Pena; 50-58 seat coaches park at the lower lot and passengers use local transport. We will advise what makes sense for your group.

Technically up to 35 seats with an experienced driver. For 50-58 seat coaches we recommend parking at the lower Pena lot (Lago) and using the internal park shuttle (ticketed). We plan this into the day.

Sintra car parks charge 5-10 EUR per vehicle/day in high season. Communicated upfront and either included or separate by agreement. In peak season Pena requires advance parking reservation for coaches.
